Plaza De Grillos Gran Reserva Malbec
The grapes for the elaboration of Plaza de Grillos Malbec come from a meticulous selection of the best lots from “Finca La Cielo” and “La Maruca”. Very low yields, manual harvest. Fermentation and aging for 12 months in first use French oak barrels. The production of this Gran Reserva is limited, not more than 30 thousand bottles per year.
The winemaker Cristian Cáccamo is one of the best in Argentina. In the 10 years between 2005 and 2015 he won 35 international medals for his wines - including the prestigious Decanter Gold Award.
A wine with excellent complexity and intense nose of black and red fruit like raspberries.
Dark blue with purple shades.
Elegant and soft floral notes.
Good concentration and structure on the palate.
Long and velvety finish.
